The Guild Theater was founded by John Robison, whose many theatrical adventures include the Roving Imp Theater, Theatre Lawrence, In Transit Players, and many other international and U.S. performances.

The Guild Theater started as the Lawrence Improv Guild in 2015. Theater performers and instructors have diverse experience in community theater, musical theater, film, puppet theater, carpet laying, social work, nuclear safety, and more!
